Sawyer and Shea had a great time playing together. She taught him how

Night Night Sawyer

We took down Sawyer's crib apart a couple weeks ago after he climbed out of his pack and play. His mattress is on the floor now, but eventually we'll put the crib together as a bed for him. He likes it on the floor because he can run and jump on it. Every night before we go to sleep we check on him, and he is usually in a strange position. The top picture is how we tuck him in and the bottom two are how we sometimes find him after a couple hours (the pictures are bright, but they were taken in the middle of the night).

Rainy Day Fun

It has been raining a lot here the past couple of days. Sawyer found a
way to pass the time by stacking all of his books in the high chair.
It took about 20 minutes to get every one of them just right. When he
was done he said "I did it!"

Happy 4th of July!

Sawyer and I went to the 4th of July celebration at Winter Park. There was a parade, live music, and a free picnic lunch. This was Sawyer's first parade, so he was pretty excited. He shouted out every type of vehicle that passed by us. The first picture is Sawyer waving at the fire truck that is about to go by, the second picture is the parade coming with the fire truck and all the kids on their bicycles. Sawyer was very excited to see so many trucks and bikes all in the same place.

But his favorite part of the day was when the train rode past. Here is a picture of him saying "choo-choo" and making the motion with his arm. The next picture is us in front of the train.
