ACL update

Tomorrow will mark two weeks since Derrick's ACL surgery.  He has made great progress since than, and is excited to be walking without crutches!  Derrick started going to PT 3x a week and will take it down to twice a week in February.  At today's appointment he was given a new brace that allows for 60% flex, making it possible to drive - hurray (no more loading up the whole clan to do doctor/work drop-offs)!

Duluth Grandpa and Grandma

Grandpa Ron and Grandma Barb came to visit us the weekend after Christmas.  We had a great time opening presents, wrestling, playing in the snow, watching football, and reading books.

Thanks for driving out to spend the holidays with us!  We had a wonderful visit!

Christmas in Wisconsin

We had a wonderful trip to Wisconsin for Christmas!  It was an adventure getting there during winter storm Draco, but we made it safe and sound.  

Highlights:

 *Snow - The boys were excited to see all the snow at Grandma and Grandpa's.  Sawyer had a blast sledding and having snowball fights.  Spence was a little more hesitant and decided to stay inside.  

*Packer Game - Derrick got to go to his first Packer game at Lambeau.

*Family - We got to celebrate with the Hanson side on Saturday, and the Strub side on Tuesday!

*Friends - Derrick and I got to go out for lunch with Caitlin and Shane, and Stacy, Chase, and Savannah came over for pizza one night.

*Fondue - Everybody was home for the traditional Christmas Eve fondue.  Sawyer got his first lesson in proper technique from Derrick.

*Lefse - While the Hanson side was over, we made lefse!  It was so fun and delicious hot off the griddle.

*Fun Memories - pool tournaments, ping pong tournaments, euchre, poker, dart gun battles, wrestling, and all around good times were had at the Strub home!

3 months old!

Channy Bananny is 3 months old today!  She is starting to grab at toys, shake her rattles, babble, and laugh.  She's not a fan of tummy time, but has good strength in her neck still.  We love you sweetie pie Chai!
